We, somewhat humorously, say "we've killed thousands of plants so our clients won't have to" and it is actually very true. We trial various plants every year in a variety of conditions to see how they fare. (It is technically "research" but we call it gardening.)
Last year I had plants grown so they could be shifted up this year. In January, I had the liners and small containers shipped to a partner grower (we collect seeds and cuttings with them and they grow many of our unique, one-off, native plants). Here is a list of this year's new hardy plants that we grew. I could also post a list of new natives that are available but the quantities are often very limited.
